DO Workshop | Extract Coffee
October 7, 2014 Category:
Bulletin For a country that is world renowned for being a nation of tea drinkers, we sure do love our coffee. It was one thing we saw loud and clear at this year's DO Wales; where attendees and speakers alike queued for the chance to get their hands on a beautifully constructed latte.
Yup, the Extract Coffee guys certainly took care of us that week, keeping us caffeinated and fascinated with the artisan process.
And if you want to learn more about that process - and knock up the perfect latte at home - now's your chance. Extract Coffee will be opening their Bristol-based roastery for one day for a DO Workshop.
The day will be split into 3 stages, the first of which will cover coffee procurement, selection, roasting & cupping. The second will be an introduction to the Brew Bar, and a variety of filter methods including cafetiere, Chemex, Aeropress, Clever Dripper, among others. The third section will revolve around all things espresso, including machine basics, shot pulling, milk steaming and latte art. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions, help with brew recipes, and of course a couple of bags of Extract Single Origin coffee to take home.
There are only ten tickets available at £90 per person, so get one fast before they're snapped up to-go.
